Typeframe PX-88
by Jeff Merrick · Hard · manifest draft — being verified
A portable Raspberry Pi 4 writerdeck with a detachable 65% mechanical keyboard, a wide 7.9-inch DSI touchscreen and an internally managed 10,000mAh battery.
Jeff Merrick designed the Typeframe PX-88 as a modern, distraction-reduced writing computer inspired by the Epson PX-4. The official repository publishes a detailed BOM, illustrated assembly guide, software setup and tolerance-specific STL/3MF enclosure sets.

Notes
Official README, BOM, electronics guide, print-file tree and project license checked on 2026-10-18. Kept as draft because the creator allows substitutions for switches and keycaps, does not specify resistor tolerance or power rating, no longer has a live exact listing for the required momentary switch, and does not state consumable quantities.
