GR3ML1N Mini Cyberdeck OS

by Andy Warburton · Easy

A touch-first CircuitPython mini cyberdeck environment for Waveshare’s ESP32-S3 2.8-inch display board, with a launcher, utilities, games and synthesizer.

Andy Warburton’s GR3ML1N project turns a single integrated ESP32-S3 touch-display board into a pocket software cyberdeck. Its swipe-and-tap launcher opens tools including notes, a BLE scanner, network status, a clock, an accelerometer view, a digital pet and a small synthesizer, with optional navigation from an external USB keyboard running KMK.

Notes

Official README and source tree checked at commit fc3b164f3d21d736c361c8d04507b248280ac666 on 2026-10-30. The named Waveshare ESP32-S3 Touch LCD 2.8-inch board is the only required physical item: its integrated touchscreen operates the core launcher and apps. External USB-keyboard input and I2S audio are optional features, so their unspecified accessories do not block verification. No printable parts are published.
