Framework Cyberdeck

by Ben Makes Everything · Hard · manifest draft — being verified

A custom portable PC that repackages a Framework laptop mainboard, battery and modules into a printed clamshell with a wide portable display, Apple keyboard and salvaged trackball.

Ben Makes Everything built this cyberdeck around repairable Framework laptop hardware, then designed a six-piece printed frame and separate top and bottom plates to hold a complete x86 computer. A Magic Keyboard 2 handles typing, a vintage Logitech trackball adds pointing, and an Arduino Pro Micro translates the trackball for the system.
