Car Cyberdeck

by João Vítor Costa · Hard · manifest draft — being verified

A two-screen ESP32-S3 car dashboard that turns Spotify playback, synchronized lyrics, weather and Bluetooth lighting controls into a Pokémon-styled interface.

João Vítor Costa built this dashboard as a pair of small ESP32 touch displays for his Honda City. The black deck renders Spotify artwork, lyrics and an animated Pokémon scene, while the optional yellow deck controls two Bluetooth LED zones and exposes clock, weather and trip views. A companion Garmin app can operate the lights from the driver's wrist.

Notes

Official README, linked manuals and MIT repository license rechecked at source commit 991b505cef19e730c114788d1685138707918dac on 2026-11-01. The optional yellow deck is now marked optional in the manifest. Kept as draft because the required USB car charger is specified only as 5V/2A and the creator does not name an exact model or publish a physical mounting manifest; the optional yellow deck's two ELK-family BLE controllers are likewise not pinned to exact models. Those under-specified items are intentionally not mapped rather than guessed.
